Yuan Lin

Yuan Lin is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and technical management. Currently serving as the Director of SW Engineering at SambaNova Systems since April 2019, Yuan previously held significant roles at Google as a Software Engineer and Technical Lead Manager focused on Pixel Visual Core and LLVM, and at MediaTek as a Department Manager leading DSP development methodology for 4G wireless modems. Prior experience includes developing Software Defined Radio solutions at Sigmatix and contributions as a Sr. Design Engineer at Cavium Networks. Yuan completed a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan, where research on processor architecture and compiler design for Software Defined Radio received notable recognition. Additionally, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering was earned from Cornell University.
