Gerben Gooijers

Gerben Gooijers has worked in the financial and technology industries since 2002. Gerben began their career as a Portfolio Manager at ABN AMRO Asset Management in 2002. In 2004, they joined Optiver as a Trader and held various roles including Partner, CTO, and Head of IT. In 2016, they founded Samotics, the world's leading provider of real-time actionable insights to increase energy efficiency and optimize performance of industrial AC motors and rotating equipment. Gerben is currently the Founder and CEO of Samotics.

Gerben Gooijers completed their International Business degree from Maastricht University between 1995 and 2002. In 2000, they attended the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute - The Lally School of Management. In 2015, they attended Harvard Business School for a course in Leading Change and Organizational Renewal. Gerben also attended Onze Lieve Vrouw Lyceum.
