Elizabeth Gehrmann is a dedicated synthetic chemist currently contributing to efforts in infinite recycling to combat plastic pollution at Samsara Eco since October 2022. Previously, Elizabeth served as a research assistant and held multiple teaching assistant roles at Iowa State University from August 2016 to August 2022, where responsibilities included coordinating exam grading for a large cohort of students, instructing and training students in organic chemistry, and managing laboratory safety and instructional sessions. Elizabeth's academic credentials include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University and a BA in Chemistry from Augustana College, complemented by research experience at Baylor College of Medicine, where a potential new drug for rheumatoid arthritis was developed.
