Andrew Powers is an accomplished educator with extensive experience in higher education. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University and the San Diego Community College District, Andrew has also held roles as a Supplemental Instructor Trainer, Mentor, and Coordinator. Responsibilities include tutoring students in English and History, mentoring academic skills, and preparing students for exams. Previous experience includes a position as a Teacher Assistant at San Diego State University and an Education Intern at La Jolla Playhouse, where Andrew supported theater workshops for young performers. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from San Diego State University and degrees in Literature/Writing and English/Language Arts Teacher Education from UC San Diego, as well as two Associate degrees from San Diego City College, one in English/Language Arts Teacher Education and another in History with Honors.
