Corey Cain, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist at Sana Biotechnology, Inc., focused on CAR-T cell characterization and developing automated flow cytometry analysis pipelines since November 2021. Previous experience includes serving as Scientist III at CODA Biotherapeutics and as Flow Cytometry Core Director at the Palo Alto Veterans Institute for Research, where Corey provided extensive support in flow cytometry and FACS sorting. A postdoctoral fellow at UCSF, Corey investigated the roles of bone formation and specific transcription factors in murine skeletal development and mineralization. During graduate studies at UC Merced, Corey developed an in vitro co-culture system to explore Wnt signaling's impact on hematopoiesis. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from UC Merced and a BS in Clinical Laboratory Science from California State University, Stanislaus.
