Tommy Zhang

Tommy (Yitao) Zhang has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tommy (Yitao) started their career as a Student Intern at VA in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at Yale University School of Medicine, where they conducted various lab experiments and provided technical assistance.

In 2012, Zhang joined New York University as an IT Specialist, resolving technology issues and managing computer systems. Tommy (Yitao) also worked at sCoolTV.com during this time, serving as the COO, Marketing Manager, and Content Recruiter. Tommy (Yitao) played a key role in brand development, data analysis, and content recruitment.

In 2014, Zhang co-founded MyLandlordScore, where they served as the Co-Founder and Director until 2018. Tommy (Yitao) was responsible for establishing and directing the company's operations. Tommy (Yitao) also served as the COO at sCoolTV.com during this period.

In 2018, Zhang took on the role of Business Development Intern at Venture Catalyst of University of California, Davis, gaining experience in business development.

Most recently, Zhang has been working at Sandia National Laboratories since April 2019. Tommy (Yitao) started as a Principal Project Controller and subsequently took on the position of Principal Project Manager in March 2022. Tommy (Yitao) is currently responsible for managing and controlling projects at the laboratory.

Tommy (Yitao) Zhang has a diverse education history. Tommy (Yitao) obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business at the University of California, Davis from 2017 to 2019. Tommy (Yitao) also attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2011 to 2013, majoring in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Tommy received their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from New York University in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Tommy has also earned certifications to further enhance their skills. Tommy (Yitao) obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in August 2022. Tommy (Yitao) became a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) through the Scrum Alliance in 2021. Tommy also obtained various certifications on topics such as becoming a Full-Stack Web Developer, IT Security Specialist, and Git Essential Training from Lynda.com in 2016.
