Andrea Pezzotti Cism

Andrea Pezzotti has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT security and operations. Andrea started their career as a Network/System Engineer at Albacom in 2003 and then worked as an IT Security Consultant at Ministero della Difesa from 2005 to 2007. Andrea joined Tele2 in 2007 as a Senior Network Engineer/Architect, where they successfully led a migration project and managed network infrastructures. From 2008 to 2012, Andrea worked at AT&T as a Project Manager/Lead Architect in the banking sector, delivering projects ahead of schedule and achieving significant cost savings. Andrea then joined IBM in 2012 as an IT Operations Manager, overseeing multiple teams and managing customer relationships. In 2014, they founded their own mobile startup called Acegol, focusing on social and mobility platforms for sports. Andrea joined Novartis in 2016, where they held various security roles including IS&RM IT Security Associate Director and IT Security Director, managing global vulnerability management and technical risks. Currently, Andrea is the Global Head of Cyber Security Operations at Sandoz, where they are responsible for building next-generation security services. Throughout their career, Andrea has demonstrated strong leadership, innovation, and a commitment to delivering high-quality IT services. Andrea holds certifications in CISM, ITIL, and PRINCE2.

Andrea Pezzotti CISM, ITIL Exp, PRINCE2 has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cyber Security from the University of Liverpool, which was obtained from 2022 to 2024. Prior to that, Andrea attended G. Giorgi from 1998 to 2002, where they studied Electronics and Telecommunication. In addition to their education, Andrea also holds several certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2022, ITIL Expert - MALC from EXIN your ICT competence partner in 2017, and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2016. Other certifications include ITIL SOA, ITIL PPO, ITIL OSA, ITIL CSI, ITIL V3 Foundation, Six Sigma Yellow belt, CAPM, and CCNP.
