Ignasi Brufau

Ignasi Brufau has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of supply chain management and digital transformation. Ignasi began their career at Berge Maritima, S.L. as an Operations Manager, where they were responsible for importing cars from Asia to Europe and coordinating multimodal operations. Ignasi then worked at Unilever as a Supply Chain Business Analyst.

Brufau joined Novartis in 2004 and held various roles within the company. Ignasi served as a Distribution & Customer Service Manager in Spain, Logistics Manager in the United Kingdom, Head of Supply Chain Management in Norway, and Regional Supply Chain Coordinator for Region Europe. Ignasi also worked as a Business Excellence Program Manager for Country Affiliates.

Currently, Brufau is employed at Sandoz as a Systems Business Lead. In this role, they report to the Transformation Office and is responsible for ensuring that the overall ERP & BI solutions align with business requirements and timelines. Ignasi also served as the Global Technical Operations Digital Lead at Sandoz, where they identified emerging technologies to automate and enhance Technical Operations.

Throughout their career, Ignasi Brufau has demonstrated a strong focus on digitalization and innovation within supply chain management.

Ignasi Brufau completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics & Management Science at the University of the West of Scotland through a one-year scholarship as an international student. Ignasi further pursued a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Ignasi also obtained a certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) Program from APICS Northern Colorado, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management. Ignasi'sundergraduate degree, Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas, was attained from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
