Herman Crause

Herman Crause has a diverse work experience in the IT industry, starting from their role as a Programmer/Designer/Systems Analyst at Sanlam in 1991. Herman then progressed to become a Senior Information Technology Manager at Shoprite Checkers, where they successfully led the Mainframe Replacement Program. At Clicks Group, they served as a Senior Information Technology Manager and played a crucial role in modernizing Data and Analytics post the ERP transformation. Later, at Santam Insurance, they held various leadership positions, including Strategic Program Manager and Head of Core Insurance, where they contributed to Agile transformation initiatives and business strategic enablement.

Herman Crause completed their Matric at Tygerberg High School from 1984 to 1988 before obtaining a Higher National Diploma in Computer Data Processing from Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1989 to 1993. Herman also obtained additional certifications including "Lead for Performance and Growth" from Harvard Business Publishing Corporate Learning in 2024 and "Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I)" from Scrum.org in 2022.
