Steven Kerr

Steven Kerr has a diverse work experience in data science and research. Steven is currently the Lead Data Scientist at SAPIAT since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at both the Usher Institute, The University of Edinburgh and the Roslin Institute in 2020. From 2019 to 2020, they held the position of Data Scientist at ThinkTank Maths Ltd. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Perimeter Institute from 2014 to 2015.

Steven Kerr obtained their educational qualifications in a sequential manner. Steven began their academic journey at The University of Edinburgh in 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Physics. Steven completed this program in 2008. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Nottingham from 2010 to 2014, focusing on the field of Physics. Returning to The University of Edinburgh, Steven completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Economics from 2015 to 2016. Finally, they went on to achieve their ultimate educational milestone by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics from The University of Edinburgh, where they studied from 2016 to 2019.
