Michael Barbour

Michael Barbour has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Michael currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, a position they assumed in 2023. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they worked at HASEN Design Build & Development, Inc. as the Vice President of Operations. Additionally, during their time at HASEN, they briefly held the role of Business Development Manager and Process Controls Manager.

Before joining HASEN, Michael was a Project Executive at Majestic Realty Co. / Commerce Construction Co., L.P. from 2019 to 2021, overseeing the Hotel Drover & 97 West Kitchen and Bar project. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as the Vice President * Hospitality at Arch-Con Corporation.

Michael's longest tenure was at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, where they held various roles from 2001 to 2016. These roles included Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, and Project Manager, managing construction projects of varying sizes and complexities.

Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager at J&J Facility Maintenance, Inc. from 1997 to 2001, handling construction and estimating projects for the USACE MEDCOM JOC nationwide. Before that, Michael served in the United States Air Force as an SSG from 1986 to 1999.

Their earliest recorded work experience dates back to 1989 when they worked at Auciello Iron Works, Inc. as a Fabrication & Erection Coordinator, responsible for supporting shop and shipping managers with material handling and fabrication tasks.

Michael Barbour attended the Community College of the Air Force from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician.

Additionally, they have obtained various certifications throughout their career. These include being Procore Certified in Project Manager (Financial Management) in July 2021 and Project Manager (Quality & Safety) in February 2019 from Procore Technologies. Michael also completed Construction 101 - Part 3 certification twice in August 2016, as well as certifications in Construction Project Management Guide: Part 2, PROCORE Project Management, PROCORE Superintendent Certification, and Procore - Project Management 1, all obtained in August 2016.

Furthermore, Michael holds various background clearances from different institutions, such as the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Inspector General (September 2011), US Marshals (April 1999), U.S. Department of the Treasury (March 1999), GSA (March 1999), and US Army Corps of Engineers (February 1998). Additionally, in May 2002, they obtained a certification in Planning and Controlling - CPM from Primavera P6 Project Management.
