Kedar Kumthekar

Kedar Kumthekar has a diverse and extensive work experience in the research and development field. Kedar is currently working as a Senior General Manager - Research & Technology at Savita Oil Technologies Limited starting from September 2022. Prior to this, they served as a General Manager - R&D at Fine Organic Industries Limited from April 2021 to August 2022.

Before joining Fine Organic Industries Limited, Kedar worked for Croda for nearly a decade. Their roles included Process Development Manager (Technical) from April 2020 to March 2021, Technical Services Manager - ATPP (Advanced Technology and Performance Products) from April 2017 to March 2020, Research Team Leader (Performance Products & Home Care) from April 2015 to March 2017, Research Scientist (Performance Technology & Industrial Chemicals - PTIC & Fibre Finishes) from April 2013 to March 2015, Research Scientist (Surfactant, Personal Care Chemicals Synthesis and Process Development, Scale Up) from October 2012 to March 2013, and Application Team Leader (Personal Care & Consumer Care) from May 2012 to September 2012.

Kedar started their career at Gharda Chemicals Limited, where they worked as an Assistant Research Officer from May 2007 to November 2008, and as a Trainee - Assistant Research Officer from May 2006 to April 2007.

Kedar Kumthekar completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Mumbai, from 2001 to 2004.
