Pavel Komnov

Pavel Komnov has a diverse work experience in software development and team leadership. Pavel is currently working as a Software Development Team Lead at SberMarket since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at VK Pay as a Software Development Team Lead from 2020 to 2021, leading teams of up to 21 people in different development areas. Before VK Pay, they were a Development Team Lead (GO) at OZON.ru from 2018 to 2020, where they led a team of 12 developers and developed a micro-service master-data system. Pavel also worked as a Senior Golang Developer at Lazada Group from 2017 to 2018 where they rewrote legacy PHP code to Golang and optimized queries. Additionally, Pavel has experience as a Senior PHP Developer at Cityads Media from 2016 to 2017, where they maintained and improved a legacy statistics system and developed a new statistics system based on Clickhouse. Pavel also worked at Fotostrana.ru from 2011 to 2016 as a Senior PHP Developer and Techlead, where they developed various systems related to metrics, user data, monitoring, and AB-testing. Prior to that, Pavel worked as a Freelance PHP developer from 2008 to 2011, specializing in CMS Drupal and Modx development.

Pavel Komnov attended Bauman Moscow State Technical University from 2004 to 2010, where they earned a Specialist degree in Engineering with a focus on start-up technical systems for rockets and spacecraft. In 2016, they obtained an Advanced English proficiency certification from Duolingo.
