Brian Waters

Brian Waters has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brian began their career in 1997 as a Marketing Representative at Disney Regional Entertainment, where they coordinated press and publicity for DisneyQuest and conducted research studies. Brian then worked at The Walt Disney Company in various roles, including Associate Brand Manager for Resorts, where they launched the company's first national hotel campaign and managed a multi-million media budget. Brian also served as an Associate Brand Manager for Multicultural Segments and was responsible for influencing advertising and new product development.

In 2005, Waters took on a temporary assignment in Hong Kong as an Associate Brand Manager for Hong Kong Disneyland, where they developed an annual pass product in consultation with the local marketing team. Upon their return to the United States, they became Manager of Experience Planning and Development at The Walt Disney Company, where they led the development and launch of new products and programs to improve the guest experience. Brian also served as an internal consultant to senior executive leadership.

Waters joined Hilton Worldwide in 2012 and held the positions of Director of Marketing Strategy and Performance and Senior Director of B2B Marketing. In these roles, they developed marketing strategies, uncovered performance insights, and established a new B2B marketing team to increase share among meeting planners and travel agents for the Hilton Worldwide portfolio.

Most recently, Waters worked as Vice President of Marketing at Peterson Companies, where they led marketing and sales efforts for the National Harbor mixed-use destination. Brian increased revenue from special events and sponsorships, improved marketing effectiveness and efficiency, and crafted an integrated master planning strategy focused on the guest experience.

In 2018, Waters joined SBI, The Growth Advisory as an Engagement Leader, where their responsibilities and accomplishments are not specified.

Brian Waters earned their MBA degree from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a BS degree in Marketing from Florida State University. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "A Beginner's Guide to Irrational Behavior" from Coursera in 2013.
