Kristin Emmet

Kristin Emmet, MA, serves as the Community Engagement Manager at SBP since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kristin worked as a Renovation Project Manager for a private client from June 2021 to June 2023 and held positions as a Community Organizer and Health Center Assistant at Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast from March 2018 to October 2021. Kristin's experience also includes serving as a Graduate Research & Archivist Assistant at Newcomb Archives & Vorhoff Special Collections from August 2014 to March 2018 and as a Renovation Project Manager for another private client from August 2011 to July 2014. Kristin began a career in retail with roles including Women's Sales Team Leader at Urban Outfitters (May 2009 - August 2011) and Manager at ReThreads Consignment Clothing (March 2006 - April 2009). Academically, Kristin holds a Master's degree in History from Tulane University School of Liberal Arts (2017 - 2018), a Bachelor's degree in History from Tulane University (2014 - 2017), and an Associate of Arts in American History from CT State Norwalk (2012 - 2014).
