Jiangpeng Li

Jiangpeng Li is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software development and management, currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at ScaleFlux since 2015. In this role, Jiangpeng leads cross-functional teams to develop computational storage systems, while previously managing the delivery of a PCIe Gen 3 Computational Storage Device. A strong background includes positions as Senior Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, focusing on innovative designs such as Open Channel FTL and direct data placement file systems for NAND flash memory. Prior research at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute resulted in the publication of ten papers on advanced storage systems aimed at optimizing NAND Flash endurance. Jiangpeng holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in the same field from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the University of Science and Technology of China, respectively.
