Wejdan Almunive, Ph.D د.وجدان المنيف has a diverse range of work experience in education and art. Wejdan currently serves as the Head of the E-learning content development section at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, where they lead a team in developing engaging and effective E-learning programs. Previously, they worked as a Project Technical Manager at Tatweer Company for Educational Services Ltd., where they reviewed and enhanced art education curricula in Saudi Arabia. Wejdan also provided support in digitizing art education books. In addition, Dr. Almunive has experience in gallery management, online learning assistance, and instructional design. Wejdan has worked as a Gallery Lead and Online Learning Assistant at Virginia Tech, where they collaborated with faculty and students to develop instructional materials and support online teaching and learning programs. Furthermore, they have held positions as a Graduate Assistant, Art Trainer, and Technical Department member, where they provided technical support, conducted training workshops, and organized gallery exhibits.

Dr. Wejdan Almunive obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Art Education from Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University in 2008. In 2012, they completed Business Administration classes at Winthrop University. Wejdan then pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction - Educational Technology at Winthrop University from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they attended Virginia Tech and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Instructional Design and Technology. Dr. Almunive also holds a Certificate of Specialization in Leadership and Management from Harvard Business School Online, which they obtained in 2024. Additionally, they obtained a Future Professoriate certification from Virginia Tech in 2016.
