Lead Schindler Lab EPFL at Schindler Group

Malcolm Mielle leads Schindler's lab at EPFL, focusing on research areas such as machine learning, robot manipulation, indoor mapping, and sustainability. Prior to this, Malcolm worked at BlueBotics, where Malcolm improved site-install times and ensured safety standards compliance in the company's flagship UVC robot. As a Phd-student at Örebro University, Malcolm conducted research on SLAM and human-robot interface. Malcolm also has experience in developing robot legs, sensor systems, and calibration algorithms during their internships and industrial projects. With a strong academic background in Robotics and Engineering, Malcolm brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the field.
