Andrea Karner

Andrea Karner, CISA, CRISC has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Most recently, they worked as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Schneider, starting in May 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Consultant and Interim VP of Internal Audit for Schneider National at Experis from January 2018 to April 2018.

From 2012 to 2017, Andrea held various roles at TDS™, including Director of Internal Control and Audit Services from April 2015 to December 2017, and Director of Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley Compliance from June 2012 to April 2015.

Before joining TDS™, Andrea worked at U.S. Cellular from 1997 to 2012, where they held positions such as Senior Manager of IT Governance, Risk & Compliance from January 2005 to June 2012, Business Relationship Manager from March 2004 to January 2005, Supervisor of SAP Integration from March 2001 to March 2004, Senior Accountant of SAP Reporting from October 1998 to February 2001, and Staff Accountant from September 1997 to September 1998.

Andrea's early career included roles as a Staff Accountant at Mabis Healthcare from 1996 to 1997, Contracts & Pricing Administrator at Baxter from 1994 to 1996, and Reservation Sales Representative at American Airlines from 1991 to 1994.

Andrea Karner, CISA, CRISC completed their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business in 2016. Andrea also holds a BSBA degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona. Andrea attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School for their secondary education. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Certified Onspring Administrator - Level 1 from Onspring, and CISA and CRISC certifications from ISACA. Andrea is also certified in ITIL Foundations from EXIN.
