Matthew Bair

Matthew Bair is an experienced educator and leader in the field of secondary science and mathematics education. Currently serving as a Secondary Science Teacher at Seaford School District since August 2021, Matthew utilizes the ADDIE model of instructional design to create and enhance learning materials for physics and chemistry courses, accommodating various learning modalities. Matthew's role as Department Chair involves fostering instructional best practices and aligning assessments with state standards. Prior experience includes teaching science and mathematics at Talbot County Public Schools, where Matthew developed a comprehensive curriculum for AP courses that achieved notable student success. Earlier roles included directing summer programs at Camp Hebron, where Matthew managed staff training and program quality, and serving as a counselor, fostering mentorship among campers. Matthew holds a Master of Education in Learning & Technology from Western Governors University and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus on Physics from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
