Roxanne Cardenas has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2011 as a Gymnastics/Dance Instructor at The Little Gym International, Inc. In 2012, they became a Sales Associate at Macy's. In 2014, they held two positions simultaneously as a Head Cashier Supervisor at Forever 21 and an Office Administration at Espetus Churrascaria. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Yelp, where they held four different roles, including National Restaurant Success Manager, Ambassador of Team Culture and Development, Strategic Restaurant Success Manager, and Associate Strategic Restaurant Success Manager. Currently, they are a Mid-Market Customer Success Manager at Seasoned.

Roxanne Cardenas obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University between 2012 and 2018.
