Richard Perez

Richard Perez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Richard currently holds the position of Security Accreditation Manager at Second Front Systems since 2022. Richard has also served in the US Navy from 2009 to 2023, where they held various roles, including Lead Analyst, Special Security Representative, Division Supervisor, Seal Delivery Vehicle Supervisor, Program Manager, Local Area Network Administrator, and Electronic Technician. Throughout their military service, Richard demonstrated strong leadership skills, effectively managing teams, conducting analysis, and ensuring compliance with security regulations. Prior to their military career, Richard worked as a Service Manager at Sprint from 2004 to 2009.

Richard Perez began their education journey in 2014 at Coastline College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Computer Network: Cyber Security. Richard completed this program in 2016. During the same period, from 2014 to 2016, Richard also obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences - AAS degree in Electronics from Coastline College.

Afterward, Richard enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2018. Richard pursued a degree in Computer Network and Cybersecurity with a specialization in Cybersecurity. Their studies in this program will continue until 2022.

In April 2022, Richard acquired the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA, further enhancing their expertise in the field.
