Matthew Jones

Matthew Jones is a Senior Commercial Analyst at Secret Escapes since June 2022, bringing extensive experience in data management and analysis from previous roles at The Telegraph, where Matthew served as Principal Analyst from April 2015 to June 2022. In this role, Matthew was responsible for managing big data ingestion and integrity, performing in-depth analysis, and presenting findings to a variety of audiences, including C-suite executives. Earlier positions included Senior Analyst, where Matthew developed SQL data extraction methods and collaborated with the data science team on results-based analysis, and Circulation Analyst, focusing on reporting and database maintenance. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Economics from the University of Portsmouth.
