Damien Fortune

Damien Fortune has a diverse career history, beginning in 2009. That year, they worked as a Legal Intern for Innocence Project, Inc, where they drafted motions and briefs regarding reopening of cases and reversal of convictions using DNA evidence. Damien also worked as a Research Assistant for Cardozo School of Law, conducting legal research for a tax professor and drafting and editing articles for publication. In 2010, they were a Summer Associate at Outten & Golden, LLP, where they conducted legal research and drafted motions and briefs for complex corporate litigation. In 2011, they worked as an Equity Research Associate at Dahlman Rose & Co, performing financial analysis on over 40 companies in the marine transportation, refining, and offshore drilling sectors. In 2012, they were an Associate - Equity Research (Machinery) at J.P. Morgan. In 2014, they were an Analyst - Special Situations at GMP Securities. In 2016, they were a Portfolio Manager at 21st Luxury. From 2017 to 2019, they were Director of Investor Relations and Chief Operations Officer & Chief Financial Officer at Savory. Lastly, from 2019 to the present, they have been Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer at Secured Communications.

Damien Fortune completed their Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Damien then earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from William & Mary. Damien also attended ARGS.
