Bob Tomer

Bob Tomer has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. Bob began their career as a Claim Representative at Allstate in 1990. From there, they progressed through various roles within Allstate, including Claim Information Manager and Service Center Manager, where they managed large teams and was responsible for employee development, performance evaluations, and customer service goals.

In 2006, Bob joined Liberty Mutual Insurance, initially as a Call Center Manager and eventually taking on roles such as Senior Contact Center Manager and Process Excellence Principal Manager. During their time at Liberty Mutual, Bob focused on driving process performance and cultural transformation through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Shingo guiding principles. Bob also led engagements to align business unit processes with strategic objectives and enhance the customer experience.

Bob's expertise and leadership were recognized beyond the United States, as they had a temporary global assignment at Liberty Seguros Colombia in 2017. There, they provided oversight for a new contact center, assisted with process implementation, and played a pivotal role in workforce management and training.

Currently, Bob holds the position of Vice President at Sedgwick, where they provide leadership and functional expertise in Contact Center Operations for Sedgwick's Care Team. Bob supports the Property and Casualty Claims organizations and focuses on value-added service offerings to partners and clients.

Throughout their career, Bob has demonstrated their ability to drive operational excellence, deliver top-tier customer experiences, and lead large teams to success. The range of their experience reflects their adaptability and skill in various aspects of contact center operations and process improvement.

Bob Tomer attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1986 to 1990, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Services.
