Bill Illis has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Bill began their career in the US Army as a Sergeant E-5 and served from November 1998 to December 2003. After that, they worked as a Branch Manager at various financial institutions, including Flagstar Bank from January 2004 to May 2007, Genisys Credit Union from May 2007 to May 2011, and Alliance Catholic Credit Union from May 2011 to April 2013.

In 2013, Bill transitioned to the role of an IT Project Manager at Member Driven Technologies, where they led core conversion projects, merger data conversions projects, and ancillary product implementations. Bill worked closely with project stakeholders, including internal executive management, software/network engineers, vendors, and client executive management team. Bill held this position until February 2019.

From February 2019 to November 2020, Bill worked at Core4ce as the D2D DaaS Technical Team Lead. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating pre-migration activities for the Desktop as a Service/Onsite Migration Team. Bill also served as part of the senior leadership team, overseeing a large team of engineers representing various capability areas.

Currently, Bill is employed at SeKON Enterprise, Inc. as the Lead Network Engineer. Since November 2020, they have been leading a cross-company team of engineers to support the migration of Military Treatment Facilities to MHS Genesis. Bill provides monthly ITSM reporting and dashboards to Assistant Program Managers.

Bill Illis has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History with an emphasis on Economics from Oakland University, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Bill also pursued MBA Graduate Studies at Walsh College from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Bill has obtained several certifications including:
