Eric Tan

Eric Tan has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Eric'smost recent role was as the Head of HR for Singapore and Southeast Asia at Sembcorp Industries Ltd in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Group Head of HR at Woh Hup (Private) Limited from 2019 to 2022. Eric also held the position of Head of HR for ASEAN at Boston Scientific from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they worked at Schaeffler as the HR Director for Southeast Asia and later as the HR Director for C&B Asia Pacific from 2014 to 2018. Eric has also held various HR management roles at Cargill, Monsanto, Kennametal, and Shell, where they gained experience in APAC IT, global IT projects, manufacturing, and retail sectors. Eric started their career as a Marketing Executive at CMG Worldwide in 1996.

Eric Tan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Statistics from the National University of Singapore, where they attended from 1993 to 1996. Eric later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management at the Singapore Institute of Management, completing the program from 2000 to 2001. Additionally, Eric Tan acquired additional certifications in Executive Compensation Strategies and Frameworks from Emeritus in 2023, and in HR as a Business Partner and People Analytics from LinkedIn in 2021.
