Brian Swoger

Brian Swoger's work experience includes roles in various companies and positions. Brian started their career in 1988 as a Consultant for the U.S. Dept of Interior, where they designed Technical Requirements for a $10M GIS/GIT system and helped deploy the system below budget. From 1991 to 1996, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Xyplex, designing and implementing remote access and network solutions for clients such as AT&T and a community hospital. At RASCOM from 1996 to 1999, they served as a Senior Sales Engineer, closing new business deals with Fortune 100 companies and managing programs with Microsoft and Southwest Bell. From 1993 to 2004, they worked at Amtrak as a National Program Manager, responsible for project management and building a triage center. Brian worked at ISI from 1999 to 2007 as a Principal, setting up a technical call center and managing a team of technicians. At Sierra Wireless, In Motion Solutions from 2007 onwards, they served as the National Manager of Channel Partner Engineering and then as the Senior Architect of Federal Solutions and Motorola. Brian managed a national sales engineering team, provided support for large national accounts, and developed key channel partnerships. Currently, they are the Director of Federal Sales at Semtech.

Brian Swoger attended the University of Virginia, where they studied Electrical Engineering.
