Viral Patel

Viral Patel is the current Vice President at SenseHawk, a position they have held for six years. Prior to that, they were the Director of Business Development and Strategy & Business Development at SunEdison. There, they were responsible for key strategic functions including market entry, policy advocacy, strategic alliances and partnerships, strategic marketing, and financial modelling and project finance. Viral also led the end-to-end bid modelling for Maharashtra Project, one of the largest bid for off-grid solar projects.

Before joining SunEdison, Viral Patel worked as a Senior Engineer at Danaher for 2 years and 2 months and as Sr. Engineer - Marketing at Larsen & Toubro for 2 years 9 months.

Viral started their career as an intern at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre where they studied harmonics in non-linear loads. Viral then did an internship at Suzlon Energy Limited for 1 year 3 months.

Viral Patel has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Great Lakes Institute of Management, a Bachelor of Engineering from DJ Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai University, and a Computer Science degree from Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College). Viral also attended St. Sebastian Goan High School.
