About this role:
As the Country Head for Japan, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Sensor Tower in the dynamic Japan market. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations in Japan, including business development, client management, strategic planning, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in sales, business development, and leadership, with a passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional results.
What you will do:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and achieve business objectives in Japan.
- Identify market opportunities, trends, and challenges to inform strategic decision-making.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies.
- Lead business development efforts to expand the company's presence and market share in Japan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
- Drive sales initiatives, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
- Understand client needs and requirements, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, escalations, and relationship management.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
- Set clear goals and expectations, and monitor performance to drive results and accountability.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights.
- Use market intelligence to inform product development, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans.
Experience you can bring:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of success in sales, business development, and leadership roles, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
- Deep understanding of the Japanese market, including cultural nuances, business practices, and regulatory environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, drive performance, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Fluent in both English and Japanese (written and spoken).
