Greg Smenda

Greg Smenda has over 30 years of work experience in engineering and software development. Greg'smost recent position is Director of Engineering at Sentient Vision Systems, a role they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Development Manager at the same company starting in March 2017.

Greg's previous experience includes a long tenure at Atex as an Engineering Manager from June 2002 to October 2016. Before that, they were the R&D Manager at Tennyson Technologies from June 1996 to June 2002. Greg also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Datacraft from an unknown start date to June 1996, and as a Software Engineer at Gemco from an unknown start date to 1991. Greg began their career as a Graduate Engineer at PKE from an unknown start date to 1987.

Greg Smenda attended City Beach Senior High School from 1975 to 1980. Following high school, they pursued a degree in Engineering with a focus on Electronics at The University of Western Australia from 1981 to 1985. In addition, Greg has obtained several certifications including PRINCE2 Fundamentals and Agile Project Management from LinkedIn in November 2016 and January 2017 respectively. Greg also completed a course titled "Agile at Work: Building Your Agile Team" from LinkedIn in November 2016.
