Xiang (Sean) Zhou

Xiang (Sean) Zhou has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. In 2007, they were a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of San Francisco. From 2008 to 2013, they were a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant as well as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa. During 2011, they completed a Summer Internship at Novartis. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Co-op at GlaxoSmithKline. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Scientist at SiteOne Therapeutics Inc. Currently, they are employed as a Scientist II at Carmot Therapeutics, Inc. and is set to begin as a Staff Scientist at Septerna in 2022.

Xiang (Sean) Zhou obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Iowa in 2013. Xiang (Sean) also obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) in Organic Chemistry from the University of San Francisco in 2008. Xiang (Sean) attended Capital Normal University prior to that, but there is no record of a degree or field of study.
