We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who will work cross-departmentally and will be responsible for developing plans and strategies based on the client’s business objectives, market trends, and customer/fan insights. We’re looking for a savvy social media aficionado with a passion for live entertainment who thrives on deadlines and can’t stop thinking about how to bring people together.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following):

  • Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy across multiple accounts.
  • Manage and oversee content initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive brand awareness, engagement, sales and other positive fan and customer behaviors.
  • Define, govern, and deploy the brand story and content strategy for clients and work with various internal teams and partners on the implementation of those ideas.
  • Work with clients and creative teams to create and inspire content for social media platforms.
  • Review analytics and report successes and failures to set the direction of future campaigns.
  • Monitor trends with social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy.
  • Act as department representative in new business development.
  • Work closely and effectively with clients to build rapport and identify goals and key performance indicators for a successful agency-client partnership.
  • Capture video and photo content on site; be comfortable working with talent.
  • Take initiative and function effectively both independently and as a member of a team, with a willingness to take on and assist with routine and last-minute projects.
  • Network with industry professionals and influencers via social media.
  • Hire and train additional team members.
  • Provide constructive feedback.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (include but are not limited to the following):

  • 5+ years of experience in the areas of marketing, storytelling, and social media.
  • Capacity to communicate effectively at all levels, ability to lead and manage staff, be flexible, and oversee and execute multiple projects simultaneously while also working effectively under the pressure of deadlines and evolving priorities.
  • Strong, team-centric leadership and management skills, and skilled in mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong creative, conceptual and storytelling skills across multiple platforms is a must. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience developing content across multiple platforms.
  • Sharp attention to detail for grammar, spelling, and punctuation and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • A strong familiarity with social media and a passion for Broadway, the arts and culture.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to stay ahead of trends and adapt to a constantly changing digital landscape.
  • Proactive self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be willing and able to work evening and weekend hours as needed.
