Engineering Manager at Shape

Brian Edwards has extensive work experience in the engineering and process improvement field. Brian started their career at Cliffs Natural Resources in 2008, where they held various roles such as Process Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Section Advisor for Business Improvement. In these positions, they applied lean principles, statistical process control, and problem-solving techniques to stabilize and improve plant performance. Brian also engaged with operations and maintenance staff to implement standardized work and planned, scheduled work for the operations work group. In 2013, Brian joined Shape Corp. as a Process Engineer and later became an Engineering Manager. Brian has been involved in managing engineering projects and ensuring efficient processes within the organization.

Brian Edwards obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University between 2003 and 2008. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Business from Penn State University from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, in 2010, Brian received a Certificate in Six Sigma Black Belt from Motorola University.
