David Hingston

David Hingston has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Their most recent role was as a Delivery Operations Specialist at Shift Technologies, Inc., where they dealt with various situations under time constraints and generated legal documents. Prior to that, they worked in customer service at Lucca Delicatessen and as a tutor at Ace Tutoring Services Inc. David also has experience as a seasonal sales associate at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and as a project manager at Bartos Design. In their earlier career, David worked as a PhD student in East-West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies, a consultant at Community-Minded Enterprises, a design professional liaison at ConXtech, a senior architect at Case+Abst Architects, and a senior architect at Andrew Skurman Architect.

David Hingston has a diverse education history. David obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1968 to 1973. In 1970 to 1971, they participated in the University of California Education Abroad Program at The University of Edinburgh, where they pursued a non-degree status in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation.

Later, from 1973 to 1976, David attended Princeton University, where they earned a Masters in Architecture (MArch) with a focus on Architecture. In 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in East-West Psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

In addition to their academic degrees, David Hingston has obtained various certifications. In 1993, they became a registered architect in California and New York through the California Architects Board. David also received the Certified Sustainable Building Advisor (CSBA) certification from the Sustainable Building Advisor Institute in July 2009.
