Steven Burger

Steven Burger has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Steven began their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Systems Engineer and Project Manager from 1989 to 1993, and then as a Program Manager from 1993 to 1998. After leaving the military, Steven worked for DRS Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Product Manager, responsible for managing P&L, strategic planning, and vendor negotiation for military-grade displays and workstations.

In 2001, Steven joined ENSCO, Inc. as a Director of Product Development, and later became the Senior Director of Business Development. During their time at ENSCO, they identified and pursued government application opportunities, and established an overseas distribution network for stowaway detection systems in over 20 countries.

From 2014 to 2018, Steven worked for Evolv Technology as a Director of Federal Programs. Steven played a strategic role in building the federal business for this technology start-up, securing projects with the Department of Defense (DoD) for defense-related physical security technology, and engaging with various DoD agencies and departments to present and sell sensor-based physical security solutions.

Since 2018, Steven has been serving as the Vice President of Business Development for SHINE Technologies. In this position, they oversee global commercial and government sales and marketing activities, as well as strategic business direction for neutron imaging systems, radiation effects and survivability testing, medical isotope production, and other products and services offered by the company.

Steven Burger attended Lehigh University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering. Steven then pursued further education at Wright State University from 1990 to 1993, completing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a field of study in Marketing.
