Vernon Yang Wen How

Vernon Yang Wen How has a diverse work experience in various industries. Vernon is currently working as a Software Engineer at ShopBack since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at OCBC Bank as an Assistant Manager in Treasury Operations from July 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they automated manual processes, developed VBA Excel macros, and provided training to new members. Vernon also served as a Management Associate at OCBC Bank from July 2020 to July 2021, where they gained experience in finance, operations, and analyst roles, organized events, and participated in a SPAC-merger themed business simulation. Before that, Vernon had internships at Pratt & Whitney as a Systems and Process Intern, where they contributed to process improvement projects and coded VBA macros, and at Regional Express (Rex) as an Aerospace Engineering Intern, where they focused on optimization and process improvement projects and developed a Python code.
