Bryan Polivka has over 30 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Bryan began their career as a Producer at Times Mirror Broadcasting in 1981. Bryan then held positions such as Vice President of Creative at ProServ Television, where they worked from 1984 to 1996, and Senior Vice President of Programming & Production at Westcott Communications from 1989 to 1996.

In 1996, Polivka joined Caliber Learning Network as the Chief Learning Officer and Vice President, a role they held until 2001. Bryan then moved to Laureate Education, Inc. as the Divisional Vice President and CLO for Laureate Higher Education Group from 2001 to 2009.

Following their time at Laureate, Polivka served as the DVP and Chief Learning Officer at Walden University from 2003 to 2007. Bryan then worked at The International Baccalaureate as the Business Lead for Publishing and Language Services from 2014 to 2015.

Currently, Polivka is the Vice President of Learning Architecture at Shorelight, a position they have held since 2020. In this role, they utilize their extensive experience in developing, publishing, and monetizing digital educational and learning products to achieve mission-critical goals. Bryan also conceives, develops, and manages projects and team-based processes to produce high-quality, measurable outcomes. Polivka is seeking organizations and opportunities that value long-term relationships, evidence-based design, data-intensive improvement cycles, and real-world results that positively impact people's lives.

Bryan Polivka has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Birmingham-Southern College. Bryan also holds a High School Diploma from Kaneland Senior High School. Additionally, Bryan has attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham, but their degree and field of study there are unknown.
