Deborah Marzano, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2005, they served as the Crew Coordinator for the Turin Olympic Broadcasting Organization during the XX Olympic Winter Games. Following this, they worked at Brigham Young University in multiple positions, including Teaching Assistant in the Department of Anthropology and Language Instructor in the Department of French and Italian. Deborah also served as the Project Supervisor for the Immigrant Ancestor Project during their time at the university. From 2011 to 2013, Deborah worked as a Team Lead at FamilySearch. In 2014, they worked as a Development Assistant at the Arthritis Foundation. Deborah later joined the Salt Lake Chamber, where they held various positions such as Women's Business Center Program Coordinator, Women's Business Center Program & Special Events Manager, and Women's Business Center Northern Utah Program Director. In 2015, they founded and owned Genova, The Focaccia Place, LLC, a business they operated until 2020. Deborah has also worked at the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute - University of Utah as an Academic Program Manager and at Westminster College in multiple roles, including Graduate Business Programs Advisor, Graduate Advising and Entrepreneurship Programs Director, Banking on Women Program Manager, and Adjunct Professor. Their most recent role, starting in 2023, is as the Utah Global Student Service Director for Shorelight at the University of Utah.

Deborah Marzano, MBA, has a diverse education history spanning several institutions and fields of study. Deborah obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Westminster University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Social Cultural Anthropology at Brigham Young University in 2011 and also holds a 5-year Diploma in Fine Arts and Architecture from Liceo Artistico Nicolo' Barabino, which they obtained from 1996 to 2001.

Additionally, they pursued further education at Salt Lake Community College, where they earned an Executive Certificate in Global Business Management in 2018. Deborah also completed a program called Leadership Utah in 2015. Earlier in their educational journey, Deborah studied Comunicazione Interculturale at Università degli Studi di Genova from 2004 to 2006. Overall, their educational background demonstrates a strong emphasis on anthropology, the arts, and business management.
