Paul Mascari

Paul Mascari has extensive experience in law enforcement and security, starting as Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps in 1997. Paul then served as an Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard from 2011 to 2016. Mascari transitioned to civilian roles, working at Marquette University as Assistant Director of Public Safety, later becoming Chief of Police. Paul was instrumental in key initiatives like the creation of Marquette's sworn police department. In 2018, Mascari founded Clearwall Safety Consultants before joining SoundThinking (formerly ShotSpotter), where they held various leadership positions, including Director of Sales for SafePointe.

Paul Mascari attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Paul then pursued a Graduate Certificate in Law Enforcement Leadership and Management at Marquette University in 2010-2011, followed by a Master of Arts in Public Service - Criminal Justice Administration at Marquette University from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are a Doctoral Student at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, focusing on Social Welfare-Criminal Justice. In addition, Paul obtained the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Officer Certification in 2015 from the Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board.
