Ari Varelius

Ari Varelius is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the technology and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Business Unit for Customer Service at Siemens Finland and Baltics since May 2022, Varelius is responsible for modernization and service initiatives for industrial customers, leading a team of approximately 60 individuals with P&L oversight. Co-founding JAMA Consulting Oy in November 2020, Varelius consults for start-ups on growth strategies and investment opportunities. Previous roles include Advisory Board Member at Nobody Engineering, contributing to the expansion of SaaS solutions in the property technology industry, and a series of leadership positions at KONE from June 2010 to April 2022, where Varelius drove digital solutions, product development, and major project initiatives. Earlier experience includes project management roles at Nokia Denmark A/S, focusing on demand supply network and manufacturing solutions. Varelius holds an M.Sc. in Technology from Tampere University of Technology and has pursued executive education at notable institutions including Aalto University and IMD.
