Ryan Moon

Ryan Moon has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles related to security engineering and application support. Ryan started their career at Microsoft as a Software Test Engineer, where they gained experience in automation. Ryan then worked as an Application Support Engineer at AT&T Wireless before joining Aventail.Net, where they played a key role in turning a SSL VPN software product into a fully managed and monitored service. At MegaPath, Ryan served as a Systems and Security Engineer, responsible for network infrastructure and centralized log collection and analysis. Ryan then moved on to GTT as a Security Engineer, where they focused on vulnerability detection and increasing VPN authentication strength. Currently, Ryan is the Head of Security Engineering at Signifyd, where they built processes and systems to achieve compliance certifications and addressed security debt through collaboration with various departments.

Ryan Moon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General from Washington State University between 1995 and 1997. In August 2016, they also obtained a certification in CISSP from (ISC)².
