Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. (sub-auspiciis) Alexander Jung

Alexander Jung's work experience begins in 2012 as a Post-Doc at ETH Zurich. Alexander then worked as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Edinburgh in 2013 and as a Visitor at the University of Michigan in 2014. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Assistant Professor at TU Wien, where they also held the role of Projektassistent from 2008 to 2013. In 2018, they became an Advisor at Rategia Oy. In 2020, they served as an Associate Editor at IEEE. In 2022, they joined Silo AI as a Principal AI Scientist and became a member of the Editorial Board for Machine Learning Journal. Starting in 2023, they became a member of the UNITE! PhD Academic Board in AI. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Professor (tenured) at Aalto University.

Alexander Jung received their Ph.D. in Statistische Signalverarbeitung from Technische Universität Wien, where they studied from 2003 to 2011. Alexander then completed a post-doc program at ETH Zürich in 2012.
