Matthew Liba

Matthew Liba has over 17 years of professional experience in the robotics and photonics industries. In 2004, they began their career at BAE Systems as an Engineer and advanced into production planning and operations roles. At iRobot from 2010-2016, they were promoted rapidly through the ranks in engineering, product development, and program management. In 2016, they joined Endeavor Robotics as Senior Director of Product & Program Management, where they created the product vision and strategy, developed the product roadmaps, and defined capabilities. From 2019-2022, they served as Senior Leader and Senior Director of Program Management at Teledyne FLIR, where they led a team of 6 Programs Managers and grew the portfolio by 5x in 2020. Currently, they are Chief Product Officer at SIONYX, a silicon-based photonics company that develops and manufactures proprietary ultra-low-light CMOS image sensors and high-performance night vision camera systems.

Matthew Liba attended Cornell University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering. Matthew then attended the Boston College Carroll School of Management from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
