Kevin Sweeney

Kevin Sweeney has been working in quality assurance for the software company Sketch since May 2018. Kevin started out as a manual QA, conducting tests and writing test cases for new features, overseeing the design of features, and demonstrating them to internal teams. Kevin also became the go-to person for answering customer queries or issues about the product.

In the past two years, Kevin has shifted their focus to automation, specifically developing automated tests for features they had previously tested and reviewed manually. Kevin has contributed to the design and building of Sketch's current suite of hundreds of automated tests, which has helped stabilise the product and keep it user-friendly.

Before joining Sketch, Kevin worked as a software developer intern at Sláinte Healthcare from April 2014 to September 2014. Kevin then spent three years at SAP as a QA engineer from August 2015 to April 2018.

Kevin Sweeney has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.
