Marketa van der Veer

Marketa van der Veer is currently the Group Head of HR Operations at Škoda Group since February 2023. Previously, Marketa served as the Head of Human Resources at Česká exportní banka from April 2017 to February 2023, and worked as a Manager in Service Management for EMEA HR Services at Amazon from November 2015 to August 2016. A career in HR consulting was established at PwC from April 2010 to October 2015, where Marketa held positions as Manager and Senior Consultant. Additional experience includes serving as HR Senior Executive at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, HR Manager at Eurest, and Recruitment Consultant at C2D. Marketa holds a Ph.D. in Management with a focus on HR from Prague University of Economics and Business, alongside a degree in Business Administration with an HR specialization from the same institution. Further education includes studies at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz and AG Štěpánská.
