Scott Osborn

Scott Osborn has over 30 years of experience in the automotive, defense, and aerospace industries. Scott began their career in 1991 as a Senior Project Engineer at Key Safety Systems, where they designed and developed airbag inflator and module products. In 1993, they became a Business Development Manager at Autoliv, where they directed commercial issues, business acquisition, and program management for Ford and GM car/truck platforms. In 1996, Scott joined TRW as a Senior Product Manager, where they were globally responsible for managing a $2 billion global brakes and cast product portfolio. Scott also became a Six Sigma Blackbelt and ASQ Certified. In 2008, Scott moved to Accuride as the Director of Product Management, Gunite, where they managed wheel-end product lines for OEM, Aftermarket, and Fleet applications. In 2010, they became the Business Manager at Meritor, responsible for a $300M business unit. In 2013, they were promoted to Senior Sales Manager, where they were responsible for growing the Defense business unit revenue. In 2020, they joined Hi-Tech Mold & Engineering, Inc. as the Director of Business Development, where they created and executed a diversification strategy to expand the company beyond the automotive industry. Most recently, in 2021, they joined SKYDEX Technologies, Inc. as the Director of Business Development, Defense.

Scott Osborn obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University between 1985 and 1990. Scott then went on to pursue an MSEM in Engineering Management from the University of Michigan between 1994 and 1996. Scott also obtained a certification in Following Up after a Sales Meeting from LinkedIn in February 2021.
