Cristina Rodriguez Levia

Director of Engineering at Skydweller

Cristina Rodriguez Levia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of engineering. Cristina is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Skydweller Aero since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Systems Engineering Lead at the same company from May 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining Skydweller Aero, Cristina worked at Altran, where they held various roles. Cristina was the Technical Unit Manager in the ASD Division from January 2015 to April 2020, where they managed Systems Engineering services and projects, mainly for Airbus Group. Cristina also served as the Delivery Manager in the ASD Division from January 2013 to December 2014, overseeing Intelligent Systems solution services for Airbus Operations. Additionally, Cristina worked as the APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) System Project Manager from September 2011 to December 2013, leading the development and management of system requirements for APU engines.

Cristina started their career at ITD in 2004, where they worked as a System Designer. Cristina was involved in the preliminary and detailed design for the A380 aircraft, specifically in Section 19.1. During this time, they also provided support for APU System Integration, including the redesign of the air intake.

In addition, Cristina has experience working as a Técnico de Laboratorio at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for a short period in 2004, and they had an engineering internship at Indra from April 2004 to October 2004.

Cristina Rodriguez Levia completed their Systems Engineering Leadership degree at the INCOSE Institute for Technical Leadership from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Ingeniero Tecnico Industrial degree specializing in Automática y Electrónica Industrial from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, however, the specific dates are not provided. Cristina also earned a Grado Medio de Música in Piano from the Conservatorio de Musica de la Comunidad de Madrid in 1996.
