Barry Atkinson

Barry Atkinson has over 25 years of work experience, starting as the Owner/Consultant of Atkinson Design, Inc. from 1995 to 2000. Barry then worked as a Software Architect in the Internet Appliance Division at 3Com Corporation from 2000 to 2001. After that, they served as the Director of Hardware and Software Development at Accton Technology from 2001 to 2002. Barry joined Chrysalis Development as the Director of Software Development in 2003. From 2004 to 2008, they held multiple roles at Matrx Broadband Technology, including Director of Systems Development and Director of Software Development. In 2007, they co-founded SportSync, where they served as the CEO. In 2008, they became the Chief Architect and Director of Platform and Services Architecture at Gogo. Barry then joined OpinionLab, A Verint Company, as the VP of Technology and Operations from 2016 to 2018. Starting from 2019, they served as the VP of Technology at Evolve Controls. Currently, they are employed as the Director and Location Lead of Platform Engineering at Slalom Build since 2020.

Barry Atkinson attended Northwestern University, where they pursued a BPhil in Communication Systems, focusing on Radio/Television/Film. Barry also studied Computer Science at UC Santa Barbara. Prior to their university education, Barry attended Rolling Hills High School.
