Hua Huang

Hua Huang has had a diverse range of work experiences. They started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UT Austin in 2004, and then moved on to work as a Principal Design Engineer at Zia Laser, Inc. in 2005. In 2006, they joined Lasertel as a Device Development Engineer, and then transitioned to nLight in 2007, where they worked as a Device Engineer until 2010. They then joined Coherent as a Staff Engineer from 2010 to 2011. Since 2011, Hua Huang has been employed at KYOCERA SLD Laser, where they initially worked as a Sr. High Power Laser Engineering Manager. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Operations and Technology, SLD China.

Hua Huang completed a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, from the year 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, Hua Huang obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Fudan University, studying from 1987 to 1991.
